Our Veterinarians

Dr. Wendi Waid

Dr. Wendi Waid

Meadville has been home to Dr. Wendi Waid since she graduated from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Her career in veterinary medicine has satisfied her passion for helping families and the pets that they love. Wendi is especially interested in companion animal wellness, geriatrics, and soft tissue laser surgery.

Wendi and her husband, Todd, enjoy spending time with their twin daughter and son, Ava and Charlie. They spend much of their time attending sporting events, exercising, cooking, and enjoying family dinners at home together. Their family also includes a sweet black lab, Gracie Valentine, a beautiful domestic long-hair, Sprite, and her beloved Archie, a Schnoodle.

Dr. Rebecca A. Stanton

Dr. Rebecca A. Stanton

After graduating from Penn State Behrend in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, she attended Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following an internship at MSU, during which she practiced and taught large animal medicine for one year, she returned to her dad’s practice, where she continues to work today. She enjoys handling her patients’ care, particularly internal medicine and abdominal ultrasound, as well as getting to know her clients and their relationship with their pets to better guide their total care.

In her spare time, Becky is involved in her local church and has had the opportunity to attend mission trips to Africa and the Philippines, where she was able to apply her veterinary knowledge to assist in Rabies prevention and serve the agricultural communities she visited. At home, she spends time with her family and out in the great outdoors, where she pursues her passions of hunting, dog training, and gardening. She is regularly joined outdoors by Archie, her English Springer Spaniel, whom she is currently training to earn an AKC Master Hunt title.

Veterinary Assistants

Our Medical Care Team Assistants are the heart and soul of CLVH. They work closely with our veterinarians, assisting with physical examinations and surgical procedures. They also perform dental prophylaxis, process radiographs, and conduct many laboratory tests that are performed in-house for prompt results. Our Veterinary Assistants also prepare and document outgoing diagnostic testing samples.

Kennel Assistants

Our kennel staff strives to keep your pet comfortable, clean, and happy during his or her stay here at our facility. They walk the dogs outside four times a day so they can exercise and enjoy a breath of fresh air. Feline friends are exercised indoors. The kennel staff supplies the TLC each pet needs while they are away from home.

Receptionists

Our Medical Care Team Receptionists are always willing to help and are very service-oriented. They schedule appointments, assist clients with choosing the best products for their pet(s), and give general advice. Each of our Receptionists is knowledgeable in hospital procedures and are well-equipped to answer your questions. They are always happy to find an answer or solution for you. The Receptionists want your experience here at CLVH to be a pleasant one.
